On U SOUND WOULD LIKE TO ANNOUCE THE RELEASE OF...

"THE ENGLISH DISEASE"

Football records are by and large limited by the fact that they appeal to the supporters of a particular club, or occasionally a hilarious 'boys in the bath' type ditty by a national team. There have been some wonderful match commentary/atmosphere LPs and some recent albums have attempted to compile the best/worst of club 'footie' songs.

THE BARMY ARMY present a collection of songs that celebrate England's national game and hopefully encompass the best of the previous laughable attempts. While also equally amusing "THE ENGLISH DISEASE" is a serious shot; rhythms of the highest calibre.

By utilising up to date techniques, skill and flair, THE BARMY ARMY and dribbling ADRIAN SHERWOOD have produced a winner. A verbal volley is unleashed at the government's Football Spectators Bill. Brian Clough gets 'physically involved'. 'Leroy Leroy' chant West Ham's north bank supporters. There's a tribute to King Kenny (Dalglish) and the North- South divide is narrowed in 'Mind The Gap'.

"END OF THE CENTURY PARTY" and "THE ENGLISH DISEASE" will also be available in the new year on Compact Disc with extra tracks - "RAT RACE", "HOUSE BUILDING", "ENGLAND 2 YUGOSLAVIA 0", "BILLY BONDS M.B.E.", "LIQUIDATOR" and other re-mixed and extended versions.
