Once upon a rhyme, a kool an' deadly crew of bredren an' sistren landed on the Planet known as Earth after travelling many aeons through distant galaxies, on a quest to discover the meaning of Flip-flop. They were discovered shell-toe-shocked from an unpleasant entry into the phatmosphere somewhere on Bethnal Green Rd by an ancient wizard cunningly disquised as a home-improvements merchant. He instantly clocked their huge potential, and so took them home to meet his mother, Ol' Ma Ninja. After a couple of cups of tea to settle their space-worn nerves, the possee of aliens immediately realised that this chance occurence was actually the beginning of the true destiny... a couple of months indoors with their freshly acquired turntables, a sampler, a few anoraks and a copy of Dr. John's 'the Night Tripper' and they were ready to Check the Species.

Under the banner of Ninja Choon, they unleashed a veritable tempest of creativity on the unsuspecting masses, spreading into homes and ears like a Provence forest fire on Prozac.
