We did our last tour 2 and a half years ago which went quite well. Things haven't changed much, we have different audiences which act differently, not on dimensionally - which is a real quality. How's Nato been received.Nato's going quite well, it's one of those records which runs for a long time - like most of our records which didn't enter the charts very high, but they're all still selling. There's been a good reaction in places like Australia and South Africa, even in the U.S.Australia doesn't seem like typical Laibach territory, although I guess there's a lot of Eastern Europeans there. We're actually getting the best response from Australia, journalists are very prepared to put some energy into the interpretation of it. Reviews are usually limited to your own tastes, everybody is a prisoner of his own tastes - but a review should be built on arguments, it should not be slagged off in inappropriate terms. NATO continues along the path of bitter irony and sarcastic humour...Some people are saying NATO is a break from our previous work, but I think it continues from our very beginnings and you cannot take the record out of that context. The record does offer different options for interpretation, you can take it from the tragic perspective of the opposite. Every piece of ... I don't like to use the word art ... work has to function on every level to function as an interpretation of reality. With NATO, Final Countdown can be interpreted by itself but only seems complete within the whole album.Yes, its the only song which jumps from the album and presents a key to understanding the rest.
