Our terms and conditions are: 20% discount for single orders, 35% basic discount. A 10% library discount is also available. All prices are retail (& VAT inclusive where applicable - for trade prices please enquire) All inland orders are post-free. Postage will be charged at cost for overseas trade orders, and a 30 day credit limit applies to all customers. There is no minimum order. First orders will be pro-formaed, unless payment accompanies the order.
Payment may be made by cheque (drawn on a British bank)/ postal order/IMO made out to AK Distribution, in Sterling. For payment by cheque in currency other than sterling or foreign cheques in Sterling, please add the equivalent of an extra [[sterling]]20 for bank charges. Overseas customers are advised to pay by overseas transfer (to: AK Distribution - account no. 70959343, sort code 08 60 01. Our bank is the Unity Trust Bank), or by Bankers Draft or travellers cheques (both in Sterling only please)
Dues will be recorded for a period of 6 months unless otherwise instructed.
Returns must be authorised and in mint condition, or they will be returned to the bookseller. Please make sure that the books you want to return were originally supplied by us. We accept whole copy returns only. Also, we ask that magazines are sent back within three issues of the one being returned.

Subscriptions/standing orders are welcome. Trade standing orders for magazines must be for at least 5 copies of each issue.
Discounts may be available for special groups and events. Please do enquire to make arrangements.
Inspection copies of certain books are available to academics for consideration as course texts. A maximum of 3 titles may be kept for up to 28 days inspection. Any books not returned or adopted will be charged for.

It is vital that you put your name and address on each order. We will endeavour to send your order within 28 days but there are occasions when delays occur due to titles being out of stock. Please include alternatives if you do not want to wait for your books. Subscriptions and standing orders are welcome.
Order by post only, accompanied by the appropriate payment. Please list the title, author and price; total and add postage. We would prefer that you use the order form. Please cut it out or copy it. If you run out of space, complete your order on a piece of paper, and attach it to the order form.
Postage inland must be added at a minimum rate of 60p per order, or 10%, whichever is the larger. Overseas customers please add 20% of the total cost - minimum [[sterling]]1.
To subscribe to any of the journals, periodicals or magazines, please send payment for the required number of issues, along with 60p per issue for postage and packing. Eg: a four issue subscription to a periodical priced at [[sterling]]1 would be [[sterling]]6.40 - [[sterling]]4 for four issues and 4 x 60p postage.
